From LS Logistics Specialist to Entrepreneur: Utilizing Military Skills for Success

As a former LS Logistics Specialist in the US Navy, I have learned many valuable skills that have helped me in my journey to becoming an entrepreneur. From the intense days of basic training to the advanced skills training, my time in the military has equipped me with the tools and knowledge necessary to succeed in business.

Basic training taught me discipline, teamwork, and the importance of following orders. These skills have proven to be crucial in running my own business, as they have helped me stay organized and work efficiently with my team. I have also learned how to adapt to new and challenging situations, which has been invaluable in the unpredictable world of entrepreneurship.

My advanced skills training as a LS Logistics Specialist taught me how to manage resources, plan and execute logistics operations, and how to handle various types of cargo. These skills have been essential in my business as I have had to plan and coordinate the transportation and storage of goods for my clients. I have also been able to apply my knowledge of cargo handling to ensure that my goods are protected and delivered on time.

One of the most important skills I have learned in the military is the ability to think critically and make quick decisions. This has helped me in my business as I have to make fast and informed decisions in order to succeed. I have also learned how to communicate effectively with others, which has been vital in building relationships with clients and partners.

Another key skill I have learned is the importance of teamwork. In the military, I have worked with many different individuals from different backgrounds, and I have learned how to work together to achieve common goals. This has been beneficial in my business as I have had to work with different partners and suppliers to ensure that my clients receive the best products and services.

Lastly, I have learned how to be resourceful and find creative solutions to problems. In the military, I have often had to work with limited resources, and I have learned how to find creative solutions to complex problems. This has been important in my business as I have had to find ways to lower costs and improve efficiency.
