From Airman to Entrepreneur: Harnessing 4E0X1 Public Health Skills to Build a Successful Business

As a 4E0X1 Public Health Airman in the US Air Force, I was given the opportunity to learn and grow in a dynamic and challenging environment. The skills I developed during my time in the military have been invaluable in my transition to becoming an entrepreneur.

From the grueling days of basic training to the advanced skills training I received, I was able to build a foundation of discipline, teamwork, and critical thinking. My 4E0X1 Public Health role was to ensure the health and wellness of my unit, and I learned to be proactive in identifying and addressing health hazards. I also gained experience in planning and executing public health programs, as well as working with diverse groups of people to achieve a common goal.

These skills have translated well into my entrepreneurial journey. As a business owner, I must be proactive in identifying potential challenges and developing solutions. I also must be able to work with a variety of people and stakeholders, whether it is with customers, suppliers, or team members.
